Andre’ Hance licensed therapist in St Cloud MN

Andre’ Hance MS, LPCC

I welcome you to the opportunity of exploring yourself through many forms of psychotherapy. My therapy is eclectic in nature and is based on a person-centered approach with neuroscience and mindfulness as primary forms of theory. I integrate other multiple therapy disciplines to individualize each person’s therapeutic needs. With over 13 years’ mental health experience I have learned the value of recovery and witnessed people moving forward with life. Neuroscience supports what Eastern philosophy has known for thousands of years. When we water the seeds of happiness we re-wire our brain for peace.

I practice from the research and teachings of Dr. Dan Siegel and Dr Rich Hanson. These are mindfulness and neuroscience specialists. Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present. Mindfulness involves acceptance and that we pay attention to our mind/body/feelings. Neuroscience is essentially the scientific study of the nervous system.

I have training in trauma-informed therapies specifically EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy). EMDR therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress.
