I enjoy providing individual mental health services to adults ages 18+. Although, I enjoy working with all individuals, I have special interests that include, but are not limited to: women’s health issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress management, self-esteem career exploration/career related concerns, and those struggling with medical issues/concerns. In addition, I thoroughly enjoy working with the college student population. I enjoy meeting individuals where they are at and collaboratively coming up with a plan that works best for them to achieve their goals. I often utilize the person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. I also have experience providing tele-health services!

I’ve had the honor to have the opportunity to speak at the state conference on Co-Occurring Disorders of Depression and Chemical Dependency in the Adolescent population and engage in developing the Embracing the Difference: the ABILITY event, which raises awareness on mental health and disabilities to reduce stigma in the community and have been a part of this event by volunteering for approximately 5 years. My graduate thesis focused on Mental Health Services and level of satisfaction of services received, including analyzing a new approach to mental health services, Integrated Behavioral Health. I have a passion to collaborate with Primary Care Providers to provide holistic care and wellness.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology and Bachelor of Elective Studies in Speech Pathology & Audiology from St. Cloud State University in 2015 and my Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling with additional education in Chemical Dependency from St. Cloud State University in 2017.

As a clinical program specialist with many years of mental health delivery service, I just completed my most recent master’s degree in rehabilitation and addiction counseling. I work with individual struggling with addiction of any kind; especially substance use disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety/depression issue, adolescents with self esteem or just wanting to figure out life redirection as well as career related issues. My life experiences alone with my professional training had contributed greatly to my work with folks especially individuals affected by childhood abuse and traumas. My therapeutic approach is based on the need at hand be it Cognitive Behavioral Therapy / Rational Emotive or Solution focused; all done with the utmost respect for human dignity using person centeredness.

I have been blessed with the ability to wear many different hats among which included being a mother and wife. I find joy in volunteering for worthy charities and had traveled extensively for that purpose. Self care is huge in my life and because I love nature, I have learned to utilize it to meet my needs and had been a major tool in my work with individuals.
